Ron Torok is a finance professional with a longstanding career in transaction origination, structuring, execution, portfolio management and workout.
Ron most recently served as a Managing Director with Raven Capital Management responsible for lower middle market private lending. Prior to that, Ron spent nearly two decades and most recently as a Managing Director in the Global Credit and Special Situations Group of Bank of America, where he was responsible for a segment of fixed income special situation and distressed investments and trading. He managed relationships with a broad base of hedge fund professionals and legal and financial restructuring advisors. He also spent seven years in Eastern Europe as an advisor in corporate finance and turnaround financial management for lower middle market American joint ventures.
Ron also serves as a board member of TruFund Financial Services, which aims to stimulate economic development in underserved communities by providing innovative financial solutions and hands-on technical assistance to small businesses and nonprofit associations. In addition, Ron has worked in various capacities supporting criminal justice initiatives and non-profits. He is an adjunct professor of undergraduate corporate finance in the Economics Department of CUNY Queens College in New York City. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University and MBA in Business and Finance from Columbia Business School.
